KOBMAND Shaving Alum Block is a solid alum grooming block made for post-shave care. Each pack contains 2 x 100 g block, packed by Kanak Group in India, and it is intended for external use after shaving. To use it, rinse the freshly shaved skin with cool water, briefly wet the block with clean water and glide it lightly over the shaved area of the face or neck. Avoid pressing hard, leave it on for a short time as directed, then rinse and apply a moisturiser if you wish. Alum has an astringent quality, so the skin may feel slightly tight or dry afterwards; adults with sensitive skin should be cautious, and anyone who notices itching or irritation should stop using it and rinse the area with water. Do not use it on irritated or broken skin, avoid contact with eyes and lips, and do not swallow it. The solid block works with safety-razor, cartridge-razor and traditional wet-shaving routines, including beard and moustache grooming. Because it is a single piece, there is nothing to pour or pump, and it takes little room in a shaving kit. After every use, rinse the block, shake off excess water and let it air-dry completely before storing it. Keep it in a clean, dry, ventilated place and do not leave it sitting in pooled water.
